Xenotransplantation is the grafting of living cells, tissues or organs from one species to another. This procedure can save thousands of lives, especially of those patients awaiting organs to be donated to fix their respective ailments.
Due to the medical procedures and various uses of our products, it is extremely important to ensure that the ASM and Xenotransplantable devices being produced do not contain pathogens, antibiotics or hormones that could jeopardise the health of the recipients, therefore traceability of our donor animals, their parents and grandparents is paramount to the assurance and integrity we place on our donor stock.
New Zealand Life SciencesLtd and its American partner, PureMedFarma Inc. are the first companies to register with the U.S.Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a source of closed herd materials.
